It has been the subject of lengthy considerations, countless discussions and many intensive studies: the Noord/Zuidlijn. And since April 2003, people have been hard at work building it. The Noord/Zuidlijn is of great importance for Amsterdam. The historic city centre will be directly connected with the city’s Noord (North) and Zuid (South) districts.
